After a long wait, the Nova Scotia Provincial government just released the OHVIF (Off Highway Vehicle Infrastructure Fund) annual reports for 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. A quick scan of the reports confirms what we already knew, ATVANS member clubs and our partners lead the way in trail development and maintenance and repair across Nova Scotia.
The reports also confirm that ATVing is a growing, vibrant sport in all regions of the province. Our 42 member clubs across Nova Scotia and their countless volunteers deserve a big ‘Thank You’ for all their hard work. These reports collectively highlight millions of dollars of hard work by club members. For every dollar of grant funding comes no less than one dollar in hard work, raised money through hosting events selling tickets, or seeking generous donations from supportive community minded businesses and individuals.
The OHVIF has been a huge success and ATVANS member clubs are a significant contributor to this success.
The full reports can be found linked below.
Once again, thanks-you and congratulations to the clubs and members of ATVANS for your ongoing efforts. We would also like to thank the Nova Scotia Department of Lands and Forest OHV division for their ongoing support and assistance.
