Update to notification sent out to membership on July 12, 2017
All of the crews are currently working along the transmission line corridor between Highway 104 (near the Cobequid Pass Toll Plaza) and the Springhill Substation, including the Polly Brook area, Collingwood, Williamsdale, Silica Rd area and Westchester Rd area. The crews are completing the various stages of construction activity such as pole installation, framing and conductor stringing. We have requested our contractor place warning signs along the transmission line corridor on either side of their work site to warn the public of the work activity ahead. We ask that the information be passed along to your members so they are aware of the work taking place and use caution while on the trails.
As mentioned before, the safety of the public and our work crews is our top priority and if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thanks,
Amy
