ACAMUTS is pleased to announce that our next club run will take place on SUNDAY, July 16 at 10:00 AM, beginning at Walker’s Pit, off the Rice Road outside of Bridgetown (exit 21 on Hwy 101). The members of our Runs Committee refer to this as the Down South Run in Reverse, which will see us travel over the South Mountain and throughout southern Annapolis County.
We will park in a pit just south of Exit 21 off of the Hwy 101 and the club will have signage up at the driveway that leads to the parking location.
Our run will take us first up past Gibson’s Lake, then on the West Dalhousie Road to the Township Road. We will then head down to the West Branch Road. From there, we will take the East Branch Road, down across the Birch Bridge to the Mersey Road.
We will then head to the big gravel pit beside the Donnelly Brook, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will run the Heartland Road, around the Thorne Road, before taking the Neaves Road and then finally, we will head back to where we started the run.
This will be an 85 KM run and it is side-by-side friendly. Participants should pack a lunch. All participants must have a 2023 ATVANS Trails Pass to participate. There is no fuel available on this route.

There is no alternate rain date, so if we are forced to cancel the run due to anticipated severe weather, we will distribute the cancellation notice the day before on Facebook and via an email to all members.
