ACAMUTS West of Hwy 8 Run

As part of our ongoing efforts to identify potential club run routes that represent new riding opportunities for our membership at ACAMUTS, Chris Bishop and the hard-working members of the Runs Committee are pleased to present the “West of Hwy 8 Run”, which will take place on Sunday, August 7.

This run covers a wide area in the west end of Annapolis County, an area not widely travelled by most members of ATVANS.

Participants will meet on the Victory Rd, where it connects with Hwy 8. This location can be found 1.5 KMs south of the Milford House and it is located on Hwy 8, 19 KM south of Exit 22 off of Hwy 101 (Annapolis Royal exit). There will be club signage at the corner of Hwy 8 and the Victory Rd.

The run will start at 9:30 AM sharp. The route will run west past Sundown Lake, then over the Mud Lake Trail before visiting Mulgrave Lake and the Mulgrave Lake Dam. From there, we head towards the outskirts of Bear River, past the Salmon Hole, through Greenland and down the Potter Rd. before ending up back at the Victory Rd.

The run is approximately 80 KM’s in length and it is side-by-side friendly. Please make sure that you have sufficient gas before you start the run and participants should bring their own lunch. All participants must have a valid 2022 ATVANS Trail Pass.
